Welcome to Lifeline Community Church, located just minutes away from Denton's University of North Texas and Texas Women's University. The birth of Lifeline is a vision by the Senior Pastor, Hyoung Min Kim, to reach out to students, especially international students, and the surrounding community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The name, Lifeline, has great significance for our church and the community. The name means "salvation" and salvation is at the heart of our purpose as a church based on the foundation of Jesus and His teachings.
Although salvation is at the heart of the matter, because of sin people suffer from some commonalities of life. First, all people at one time or another have a feeling of loneliness. This is due to our longing to be in Heaven - our permanent home - with Christ and our Father. Second, all people at one time or another has thought about their purpose in life. Why am I here? Lifeline believes that the purpose of Jesus Christ was to die for
our sins. And according to Scriptures, our purpose is to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ (John 6:29 paraphrased). Third, all people at one time or another has felt some anxiety or fear of death. Christ has conquered death so that we may have life after death. Fourth, all people at one time or another has felt guilty because of a lie we told or we stole something or we treated someone wrongly. God has placed in our hearts His laws so that we may know from right and wrong. And
it was Jesus Christ who died so that we may enter Heaven guilt-free from our sins.
Our church wants to provide a home for you and your family. We want to share the love of Jesus Christ and His teachings. We want you to be a part of the Lifeline Community Church family. Join us this Sunday!
